Survived by Lori’s life partner of 39 years, Tim Yzerman.
Sisters: Marie Burrell, sons Tim and Michael and their families; Catherine Dyke, husband Glen, daughter Janelle Dyke with partner Richard, and children Sloan and Oliver; Julie Chemilnisky, sons Todd Chudyk and Cody Chemilnisky; Patricia Holien, son Joshua Holien, wife Kayla with children Haiden and Scarlet; Deborah Martin, children Christine O’Brien, husband Chad with children Grady and Kaden, Lester Pearson with children Hunter and Lane, Jenna Reid, and Kenny Reid.
Tim’s family: brother Monte and wife Angie Yzerman, son Brandon and wife Maria Yzerman and their children Madi and Bowden, and Tanner Yzerman with girlfriend Selam.
Lori was predeceased by her parents Reta May and Garfield Helmer Holien.
Lori was born May 18, 1963 in Melfort, Saskatchewan, the sixth daughter and the baby of the family. She loved bike riding, her two cats, pulling one armed bandits in Vegas, photography, and travelling. Lori and Tim’s adventures had them cruising in Alaska, parasailing in Mexico, and hitting their first ever ocean swim in Costa Rica. Their favourite place to enjoy is Playa del Carmen.
Lori completed her education in Melfort, Saskatchewan and went on to Lloydminster, Alberta where she met Tim.
