Loretta Elaine (Wagner) Stretch

Loretta Elaine Stretch was born to Gottard and Delores Wagner and was raised in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Loretta had a very contagious laugh and loved to joke around with others. Loretta loved to stay up late and talk with either family or friends. 

Sadly, Loretta’s time had come to an end on September 20, 2021 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 64. Loretta was predeceased by her father Gottard Wagner, mother Delores Wagner and brother Daniel Wagner.

She will be loved and missed by her six kids as follows:  son Brian (Kristie) and their children, Kelsey and Cameron; her daughter Janet (Jared) and their children Marcus and Chloe; her daughter Chelsa (Robert) and their children Hannah and Matthew; her son Gerald (Rose) and their children Syd Matthew, Samuel, Ryker, Souleen; her son Darryl; and son Jason.  She will also be missed by her sister Frances, her brother Ralph, her sister Evelynn (Clearance), sister Marilynn, her brother Stan (Shawna), her sister Roseanne, and her sister Bernita; as well as many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her fiancé Douglas Forth and his kids. 

Those wishing to pay their respects and see Loretta are invited to do so at a Visitation at the Ponoka Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. 

Due to the current restrictions, a private Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.  The Funeral Service will be live-streamed at service time for those who wish to attend virtually.  The recording of the service will remain on this page for 90 days.  The video viewer is located at the bottom of this page.
