Lisa Jeanine Nichols-Bowie

Heaven has called another Angel home. It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Lisa Jeanine Nichols-Bowie on August 31, 2023 at the age of 43 years.

Lisa leaves behind her beautiful daughter Jallelle Nichols-Bowie; her parents Trish and Greg Bowie; brother Phil Bowie and brother Kayle Bowie and his three children Jace, Lily and Shae; as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Rodney Allen Nichols; her Nichols, Zolkivski and Bowie grandparents; her uncles Barry Zolkivski and George Nichols; as well as her beloved Darrin. Though they met at a time in their lives that they were not at their best, Darrin held a special place in her heart.

Lisa cherished the true spirit of every holiday occasion. Lisa's family meant the world to her. Fond memories of Lisa giving Jallelle “stuffies” birthday parties with cupcakes and candles. She loved wearing sunglasses and crazy hats while building sand castles with her cousins. She loved going to O. L. V. C. camp every year so she could sing her heart out, and great memories of her singing at the Daines Country Music Picknic barefoot and pregnant. No stone was left unturned if she was fighting for justice. Lisa had an extremely caring heart and gave so much of herself.

A celebration will be held on September 14, 2023. Service for immediate family will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to join an open house celebration at the Bowie Farm from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Open mic eulogy at 3:30 p.m. - Contact family for directions.
