Liam James Holtz

On January 18, 2026, Liam Holtz of Ponoka passed away at the age of 22 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by Elise Holtz (sister), Lynnette Holtz (mom & Riel), Grandma and Grandpa (Ann & Mike Akins), Nana (Yvonne Holtz) and all aunties, uncles and cousins; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He will be dearly missed by the friends he made throughout all wakes of his life.

He was predeceased by Rory Holtz (father), Jim Holtz (papa),  Joyce Gall (great-grandma), Jean Bowen (great-grandma).

In his youth, Liam was a dedicated teammate and enjoyed playing hockey and lacrosse in his spare time. His passion for music quickly grew into a hobby of playing both the acoustic and electric guitar, sharing in the fun with family.

A gathering to celebrate Liam's life will be held at Ponoka Funeral Home at 3:00pm on Friday, February 13th, 2026. For those who cannot attend, please scroll down to view the Livestream at service time.
