Leeann was a very loving, kind, nurturing, humourous mother, sister,  daughter, kokum to always put others above herself. Some of you would remember her as bubbly, very straight to the point person who wore her heart on her sleeve. The love she had for her family was unconditional and shown in many different ways, and always making sure everyone was okay. Leeann’s grandchildren were really her pride and joy. Out of any bad situations, she would always be able to the find the positive. Leeann was just really positive, And was in her own unique ways that a lot of people wouldn't be able to put into their own words on how they would describe her. That was Leeann, she had the biggest heart that went about life, despite everything that she had been through. Her sickness had made her as strong as she was, so she would then be able to face her life to the end. She was a survivor.

Leeann is survived by her aunt, Lottie Northwest (John); siblings, Shandra Northwest and adopted brother, Francis Yellowbird; her children, Cody, Daisy, Marsha, Audrey Linda Northwest, Cole Northwest, Brad Northwest-Firingstoney, Austin Firingstoney, Dylan Firingstoney, Allen Firingstoney Nathaniel Northwest and Aidyn Northwest; her grandchildren, Tyra and Soriaya Northwest-Mountain, Izaak Mountain, Joshua Scanie, Daniel, Jordyn Northwest, Kayleen and Autumn Northwest, as well as numerous extended family members and many friends.

Leeann was predeceased by her mother, Audrey Rose Northwest; her father, Ivor Thom and her grandson, Rylan Northwest.
