Koji Omura was born in Shimizu, Japan on December 30, 1950 and passed away on May 24, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 75 years.
He moved between different jobs and small communities within British Columbia and Alberta for several years before settling in Wetaskiwin. He spent much of his adult life in sales, and worked full time as a sales consultant at Denham Ford in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, making connections with his coworkers and the community through his patience and ability to relate to others.
The Omura family would like to thank Denham Ford for their love and support for the 24 years Koji worked there, they were truly like a family to him.
A drop-in gathering will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge (4915 49 Street, Wetaskiwin) from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please come for a light lunch and to share stories and memories of Koji.
