Kim Graham was born in Ponoka, Alberta on August 23, 1957, to proud parents Don and Myrt Graham. He was raised on a small mixed farm west of Ponoka in the Half-Way Grove area, attending Sylvan Heights School for grades one through nine.
Summers were spent working hard on the farm, with time made for camping, fishing, and playing fastball. Hockey and ice fishing were important pastimes in the winters. He attended high school in Ponoka, where he met the love of his life and soulmate, Coleen Neufeld. They were married in the spring of 1978.
After spending their early years together in Edmonton and Calgary, Kim and Coleen settled on an acreage east of Millet, where they raised their children, Chris and Rae-anne, and built a life together for more than 41 years.
Kim operated a consulting company for over 40 years and was actively involved in Trailblazer RV, the family-owned dealership. He also partnered with his brother Keith in several successful businesses and investment ventures.
Kim had a deep love for his family and the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, rodeo, chuckwagon racing, bird watching, traveling, and time with his grandkids. He was very proud of his family’s heritage and connection to the Ponoka Stampede.
Kim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Coleen; his son Chris (Cassandra) and their children Kaia and Koa; his daughter Rae-anne Powers (Mike); his father Don Graham; his sister Terry Graham; his twin brother Keith Graham (Laura); his in-laws Herman and Lola Neufeld; his sister-in-law Jan Belzile (Bruno); his brother-in-law Don Bouschard; his chosen sister Kathy Bidlock (Dean); and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews all of whom he loved unconditionally. He was predeceased by his mother, Myrt Graham, in 2014.
A service for Kim will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. the Stagecoach Saloon (Ponoka Stampede Grounds). The service as recorded and the video link is available below.
