Dad is survived by his loving wife Bonnie; son Kevin (Jody) and granddaughter Kendra; daughter Crystal (Eugene Hollihan); Jody’s two daughters, Ashley (Chris) and their five children and Dana and her four children; sisters Gloria Hurst, Darlene (Trevor) Saunders, and Sherry (Gavin) Prowse; sisters-in-law Jo-Anne (Gauka) DeVries, Donna McLaren and family, and Marion (Avison) Dedio; step-brother Jim Waldern (Peggy Sue); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ken was predeceased by his mother Eileen; step-father Cleave Waldern; two brothers, Harvey and Roscoe; grandparents Jack and Janet McGillivray; in-laws Dick and Gwen Avison; brother-in-law Gordon Avison; Marion’s two children, Brenda and Kevin (Avison); and a very special cousin Donna Beenen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Ponoka Funeral Home.
