Kenneth Wayne Cummings was born on September 16, 1944, and passed away in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, on January 23, 2025, at the age of 80 years.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Ely Cummings; daughter, Karen Skeels; son, Kevin (Tammy) Cummings; stepson, Mark Anthony (Carin) Bautista; grandchildren, Austin (Laura) and Dallas Cummings, Tyler Skeels and Yana Bautista; siblings, Sandra Washkevich, Fay Chappell, Diane (Rod) Hayden, Randy Cummings, and Lee (Roger) Hammer and their families; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jose (Alicia) Bautista, Estela Wilson (Steve Gaffney), Carlita (Kevin) Dowding, Jerome (Mhek) Bautista and families; mother-in-law, Rosita Bautista as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Leonard 'Bud' Cummings; father-in-law, Fortunato Bautista; brothers-in-law, Pete Washkevich, Cliff Chappell, Ron Menge and Rudy Wilson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Baker Funeral Chapel. Visitation will take place at 1:00 p.m., with services beginning at 2:00 p.m. The service will be livestream recorded. A time of fellowship will follow the service, at the Wetaskiwin Seniors Centre (5216 54 Street)
Cremation will follow the service.
