Kathy Lea McNulty

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathy McNulty on May 24th, 2026, at the age of 69 peacefully at home. 

Kathy was born February 8th, 1957 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta to Howard and Colleen. Kathy lived a life centred on love, family, and resilience. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Steven; grandchildren, Braeden, Brooke, and Alexa; sisters, Karen (Joe), Cheryl (Doug), Cindy (Gordon); aunty, Gail; and numerous extended relatives and dear friends. 

Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Colleen McNulty. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kathy’s memory to Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, Box 3045 Athabasca, Alberta T9S 2B9. 

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Wetaskiwin Hospital Emergency Department for their kindness, empathy, and care, as well as the staff from Care at Home for all their amazing care and kindness. 

A private celebration of life will be held to honour Kathy.
