Karswell Dwight McComish was born on February 4, 1964 in Coronation, Alberta, the second son of Ronald and Arla.
Karswell experienced a lot of sickness the first few years of his life and after many prayers he grew & became a very busy boy. At times, in those years we didn't know if he would be able to breathe another breath, but through many people's prayers and grace of God, he did!
Karswell taught us so much and we thank God for his life. We don't pretend to understand how or why Karswell had so many trials - perhaps some day we will - but we think it won't matter then as he will be able to sing and dance in praise and worship for the Lord the Giver & Preserver of life. He will enjoy his first steps and words in heaven & enjoy all things that were difficult for him here. He will be free from his earthly body, just as all who know Jesus will be. What a Day that will be!
Karswell is survived by his loving family, mother Arla; brothers, Clayton (Tammy) McComish and Daniel McComish; nephews, Connor (Alicia) McComish, and Denver (Megan) McComish; great-nephew, Declan McComish; step-siblings, John (Teri), Karisa (Jeff), Brent (Brooke) and their children, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Karswell was predeceased by his father, Ronald McComish and step-father, Lyle Schaitel; grandparents, Mac and Annie McComish, and James and Jaunita Richardson, as well as cousins and their families.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Baker Funeral Chapel. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow at the Wetaskiwin Seniors Center, followed by interment at the Coronation Cemetery.
