It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Karen Burghardt on December 11, 2025 who passed away peacefully, surrounded by love.
Karen is survived by her children Colleen (Neil), Rhonda (Frank); son, Randy; her grandchildren Chris, Amy, Michelle, Jessica, Curtis, Ashley, Liam, Kaylin, Kendra, Karissa; great-grandchildren, Ali, Hayden, Charlie, Sarah, Megan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
karen was predeceased by her parents, Otto & Lydia; sister, Irene; brothers, Irv, Harvey.
In memory of Karen, donations may be made to STARS Air Ambulance or the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
