Julie Rose-Marie (Nazarek) Harmer

Julie Rose-Marie (Nazarek) Harmer, beloved mother of sons Charlie and Maxwell Harmer, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023 in Delta, British Columbia at the age of 33.

Julie is survived by her brother Curtis (Kelsey) Nazarek and their daughter Elizabeth; her mother Darlene Scherrens; her father Bob Nazarek; her uncle George (Roselyn) Scherrens; her aunt Ghislaina (Glenn) Coulter; her uncle Johnny (Carolyne) Scherrens; her aunt Sharrell (Sandy) McLeod; as well as, numerous cousins. Julie was predeceased by her aunt Barb Scherrens and her grandparents on both sides of her family. 

Julie was born in Ponoka, Alberta on August 9, 1989. She graduated from high school in Ponoka in 2007 and moved to the Vancouver area in 2010.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Ponoka Funeral Home in Ponoka, Alberta at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023. The Interment Service will follow at Forest Home Cemetery.  The Funeral Service will be live-stream broadcast and recorded - the video viewer is located below. 

Flowers are gracefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations to a trust fund for Julie’s sons Charlie and Maxwell would be gratefully accepted. Donations sent to Ponoka Funeral Home will be forwarded to the family.
