Josephine (Jo) Doris (Pawloske) Shantz

On August 6/2025 Josephine Shantz passed away at the age of 92.

Jo is lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, William (Burt) Shantz; son, Mark (Carol) Shantz; daughter, Lana (Mark) Dyck; grandchildren, Kristy Jo Shantz, Stacy (Geoff) Leblanc, Jeremy Dyck, Tyler Dyck; great-grandchildren, Greyson Leblanc, Mila Leblanc.

Jo was a kind and beautiful lady, who will be sadly missed by her family. She will be remembered for her time spent with friends and family, whether it was playing cards, crafts with sisters, coffee with the neighbours or spending time with her grandchildren. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, as well as a passion for baking, frequently surprising teachers at the local school. She took pride in her gardening and had an interest for growing flowers, often awarded at horticultural shows. 

Jo was predeceased by her parents, Otto & Lena Pawloske; her sisters, Alma, Gladys, Dorothy (Dot), Inez; and brother, Len.

Cremation has taken place.
