John Louis Goofers was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on November 24, 1953. He was suddenly and tragically taken from us on October 17, 2025 at the age of 71 years. 

John is survived by his loving partner, Marian. He also leaves behind his beloved children: son Nathan (Robyn) and grandchildren, Logan, Lana, Chloe and Conor; daughter Pam (Justin) and grandchildren, Liam, Quinton and Sawyer; daughter Cindy (Josh) and grandchildren, Taylor, Jackson and Christopher; daughter Janice; son Jonathan (Kenzie) and grandchildren, Cole and Brynn; sister Jennifer (Rick) and brother Keith (Bev). Along with Marian's family, John will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. 

A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wetaskiwin Agricultural Society.
