Joanne Maxine (Elder) Kroening

1942 - 2025

Joanne Maxine Kroening, of Lacombe, Alberta, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the age of 83 years.

Joanne is survived by her children, Wade and Lois Kroening, Kelly Sjolin, and Deanna Kroening; grandchildren, Chris (Jody), Cole, Brandon (Brittney), Thomas (Annie), Zack, and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Branden, Tessa, Matthew, Brooklyn, Peyton, and Xayvian; siblings, Jeane Gustin, Ron Elder, and Colleen (Gordon) Churchill; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard; son Kevin; grandchild Cory Kroening; parents, Staunton and Ruth Elder; and siblings, Darlene Illenseer, Robert Elder, and Murray Elder.

A Committal Service will be held at the Millet Cemetery on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, at 12:30 p.m.

A Time of Fellowship and Refreshments will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion #229, Millet (5156 - 50 Ave) from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
