Joann Phyllis (Hagen) Hardy

1930-2020

It is with great sadness the family of Joann Phyllis Hardy announce her passing in Millet, Alberta on October 31, 2020 at the age of 90 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lesley, Doug (Lynn), Don and David (Darcy); grandchildren, Rick Hardy, Curtis Hardy, Dawn Miller, Donita Leite, Katelyn Hardy, Brett Hardy and their spouses; great grandchildren, Madison Hardy, Kolbie, Skyla, Andrea, and Somer-lee Skjonsberg. Joann is also survived by five great- great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Roy in 1997; her parents, Elwood and Frieda Hagen; her infant granddaughter, Dayna and her sister, Marlene. A special thank you to Diane Miller and Amanda Tomniuk for the wonderful care and friendship they both offered her. A very special thank you to Ilonka Nickel for her dedication and constant care in our mother’s final years. Also for our cousin Dale who always made time to bring his mother to spend time with our mother  we sincerely thank you!
