It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jim Noseworthy, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, on September 28, 2021, aged 62 years.

Jim was a six year post double lung transplant and kidney dialysis and cancer survivor. He loved fishing and camping, and took great pleasure in fishing with his grandkids and family. He loved to sing, and we will miss his video postings on Facebook. 

Left to mourn Jim are his wife, Joy; children, Jade (fiancé Kyle), Will (Ashley), Kelly (fiancé Bryce); daughter-in-law Toni-Lynn Smith (Joy's rocks throughout this time); grandchildren, Billie-Hope, Brady, Hailey, Mia, Rome, Isley and Rory; numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews; brothers and sisters, Ann Janes (Pat), Pat Noseworthy (Debbie), Cathy (Jamie) McCarthy, Jeanette (Glen) Gale, Brenda Turner (Todd), Coleen (Jim) Felker, David Noseworthy, Barry Noseworthy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leighton (Kim) Hiscock, Cecilia Hiscock, Albert (Jessica) Hiscock, Kevin Hiscock (Trina), Corey Hiscock; mother-in-law, Mary Hiscock; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, James and Zita Noseworthy; paternal grandparents, Gus and Ann Noseworthy; maternal grandparents, Gus and Annie Pritchitt; father-in-law, Bill Hiscock; brother-in-law, Wayne Turner.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Transplant Program, Toronto General Hospital (12th Floor, Munk Building, Room 100, 585 University Avenue, Toronto, ON M5G 2N2), or your local Kidney Foundation. 

A special thank you to Allie and Jessica at Baker Funeral Chapel for all the fantastic care given to the family, as well as JCCF church for all of their donations and help to the family, with a special thanks to Pastor Antonio and his wife, Mila. Special Thanks and Love go to Heather Stanley, Susan and John Parsons and Loretta Wiseman for their love and support through this life altering time. 

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held in the summer of 2022, date and time to be announced.
