September 16th, 1970-December 30th, 2024
It is with absolute heavy hearts, we sadly announce the passing of Jason Seufert, on Monday, December 30th, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Jason was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on September 16th, 1970 but most recently resided in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.
Jason had many titles which included: father, grandpa, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He shared countless memories that will forever be held in the hearts of many.
Jason is survived by his children, Sabrina Seufert and Jocelyn Seufert (Dennis Welzel); grandchildren, Lynden and Katelyn Welzel; parents, Vivian (Ewald) Sonnenberg and Otto (Kathrine) Seufert; five siblings, Anthony (Penny) Seufert, Michael (Sharon) Sonnenberg, Nancy (Dustin) Johnson, Carmen Seufert, and Dwight Seufert, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Baker Funeral Chapel, located at 5302 50 Ave, in Wetaskiwin. Immediate family welcome between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.; extended family and friends are welcome to join at 10:00 a.m.
A service will follow at Calvary Lutheran Church, located on Highway 822, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Following the service, there will be a time of fellowship and refreshment.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations are greatly accepted to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Alberta Division (320 Ledgeview Business Centre, 9707-110 Street NW, Edmonton Alberta, T5K 2L9).
