Irene Pearl (Sparks) Sherwood

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Pearl Sherwood of Lacombe, Alberta.

Irene is survived by her children Darlene (Mickey) Gentes and Dale (Donna) Sherwood; grandchildren  Micheal, Shantel (Andrei), Kylan, Travis, Kelly (Tim), Kim (Carol), and Lockley (Heidi); great-grandchildren Cheyenne, James, Amara, Gage, Luke, Gavin, Orrin, and Arlo; her brother  Ron (Elsie) Sparks; and sisters-in-law Jean and Margaret Sparks. Irene will also be lovingly, remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.  Irene was predeceased by her parents Ivan and Mabel Sparks; brothers  Earl, Vern, and Norbert; and her sisters Phyllis and Ada.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 with the Interment Service following at the Forest Home Cemetery in Ponoka.

Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
