IONA EVELYN PETERS
August 17, 1927 - April 25, 2018
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Iona Evelyn Peters - born, August 17, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She is lovingly remembered as a mother, sister, aunty, grandma and great-grandma, by her family.
She is survived by her children, Wilf, Hugh, Ronnie, Glenn, Art, Susan, and Murray, her many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Herbert (2002) and her daughter, Heidi (1958).
Respecting Iona's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Wayside Inn in Wetaskiwin, AB on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to pay their respects is invited to stop by.
The family would like to thank the Wetaskiwin Hospital Staff in Unit 33, for everything they have done.
