Obituary

Herbert Paquette
1959 ~ 2022

It is with sadness that the family of Herb Paquette announce his passing.

Herbert Andonias Paquette was born on September 1st, 1959 in Nelson, British Columbia, the middle child of Andonias Phillip Paquette and Margaret Hulda Grace Taggert. He lived in various places in B.C. until making his home in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.

He leaves behind three daughters; Michelle, Jennifer and Jacquelyn Paquette, and grandsons Loki Paquette and Jaxson Mantai.  Survived also by his siblings Sharon Bissett, Steve Paquette, Barb Paquette, Clay Paquette, and Joann Paquette. Herb was also loved by his nephews and nieces Matthew and Nathan Bissett, Shawn, Jazmin, Taylor and Kahlan Paquette.

Herb had a deep love of motorcycles and enjoyed working with them and other vehicles at the Reynold’s Alberta Museum. He was a jack of all trades, but most enjoyed being a taxi driver in Wetaskiwin for many years. Herb was proud of his sobriety in the last part of his life and has many friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life for Herb will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 2:00 p.m.  at the Wetaskiwin Alano Club (5017 50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin).
