Helen Mabel Schmidt

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Helen Mabel Schmidt at age 92 years in Wetaskiwin Alberta. 
Helen was a devoted wife and loving mother of four children. She had two daughters and two sons, Susan (Ed) Burghardt, Kathleen Schmidt (special cousin Leanne Garner), Timothy (Leona) Schmidt and Gregory Schmidt.
She was also blessed with the gift of grandchildren, Mike Burghardt (Carrie), Steven (Lesa) Burghardt, and Stephanie (Edward) Brozny
Her legacy of love and light will also continue on in her great-grandchildren, Abigail and Glen Burghardt, and Baby Brozny, whom she eagerly anticipated receiving updates about and was hoping to meet one day.
Helen was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Joseph Provost; loving husband, Raymond Schmidt; sister, Dorothy Longtin; and grandson, Glen Burghardt.

A private family visitation and graveside funeral service has taken place.
