On February 13, 2026, Helen passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short battle with cancer in Camrose, Alberta at the age of 65. She was born April 21, 1960 in Windsor, Ontario.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, Michel; their sons, Dominique, John-Robert (Breanna); grandsons, Silas and Felix. She will also be sadly missed and loved by her brothers, Fr. Louis, Maurice (Claudette), Paul (Gisele); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Helen grew up in Ontario in St. Joachim alongside her many family and friends, where she eventually joined the Felicians in Mississauga, Ontario where she spent time as a nun. She later moved to Alberta in 1986 where she met her husband Michel, then settling in Wetaskiwin later on. Helen was an avid painter and loved by all. As she touched many people's hearts through her various jobs and hobbies.
Helen was predeceased by her parents, Rita and Arthur; and many other extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service will take place at Sacred Heart Church (5113 49 Ave, Wetaskiwin) on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Helen, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton.
