Heinrich Reimer was born in Durango, Mexico to Diedrich and Katharina Friessen, and was adopted at age 9 by Klaas and Anna Reimer; at age 12 he moved to Belize with his family. Heinrich met Helena Peters, who was from Mexico, at age 23, and 7 months later they were married. Henry and Helena lived in Belize for 6 months before they returned to Mexico. In 1995, the Reimer Family moved to Alberta, Canada for a better life. Here, Henry found his dream job working for Minchau Lumber, and worked there until 2 days before his passing. Henry was always happiest when he was in the bush, working with lumber, or cutting grass.
Henry is survived by his loving wife Helena; daughters Margaretha and her husband Trevor Adair and Mariana and her husband Roger Kakoschke; sons, Allen and his wife Carmen Reimer and John and his wife Lorraine Reimer; four grandchildren, Yolanda Kakoschke; Kenzie, Brent, and Derek Reimer as well as numerous friends and relatives.
