Heinrich Reimer was born in Durango, Mexico to Diedrich and Katharina Friessen, and was adopted at age 9 by Klaas and Anna Reimer; at age 12 he moved to Belize with his family. Heinrich met Helena Peters, who was from Mexico, at age 23, and 7 months later they were married. Henry and Helena lived in Belize for 6 months before they returned to Mexico. In 1995, the Reimer Family moved to Alberta, Canada for a better life. Here, Henry found his dream job working for Minchau Lumber, and worked there until 2 days before his passing.
