Heidi Ann (Witt) Lawton

Heidi Ann Lawton, age 59, passed away suddenly on December 27, 2025, in Ponoka, Alberta.

Heidi was born on October 8, 1966, in Brooks, Alberta, to Anne and Bert Witt. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Heidi is survived by her loving husband, Darrell; her son Jeremy (Emily); her cherished grandchildren Hudson, Briella, and Harlow; and her brother Mike (Karolyn). She was predeceased by her parents Anne and Bert Witt.

A Funeral Service will be held at Ponoka Funeral Home on Friday, January 16, 2026, with a viewing at 12:00 p.m. and the service beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed by a gathering at Ponoka First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Heidi’s memory to Old McDonald Kennels.

Heidi will always be remembered for her strong work ethic, kind heart, and deep love for her family.
