Harold Vernon Schultz

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our father, Harold Schultz, 93, of Wetaskiwin. He passed away peacefully on the morning of August 9, 2025, at the Wetaskiwin Hospital. He was born July 31, 1932, in Bashaw, Alberta to Adolph and Molly Schultz.

Harold is survived by his sister Diane Hauser of Bashaw; his two sons Shane Schultz (Julie), and Trevor Schultz (Vivian); his daughter Tracy Farebrother (Trent); daughter-in-law Dawn Schultz; along with grandchildren Nelson Schultz (Shawney), Kyrstin, and Adam; as well as his great-grandchildren and extended family.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary Schultz; his son Glen Schultz; brothers Leslie and Burnell Schultz.

Harold loved tinkering in the garage and taking care of his acreage. Harold had a love for little animals. For anyone wishing to pay respects, in lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to any animal rescue of your choice.

As part of Harold’s wishes, there will be no service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
