Gerald Moller
February 12, 1951 ~ May 25, 2022
It is with great sadness the family of Gerald Moller announce his passing on May 25, 2022 at the age of 71. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Jerry was born on Feb 12, 1951, in Ponoka, Alberta. He grew up in Ponoka, and later moved to Wetaskiwin, where he met his future wife, Lilly, and they were married on July 22, 1995. Jerry worked as an Industrial Insulator for most of his life, and he enjoyed fishing, camping and quadding with his family and friends. Jerry was a big fan of the Edmonton Oilers and never missed a game. He was always up for a game of cards or a game of aggravation, where you would see that Moller competitive spirit come alive. The last few years, Jerry loved to spend his afternoons out at “his cabin” (Karen and Al’s) sitting on the deck, having coffee. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Lilly; stepchildren, Karen (Al Power), Kenny; grandchildren, Trent, Greg and Shawn; siblings, Doug Moller, Dennis Moller, Shelly (David Bender) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Jerry was predeceased by his mother, Mona Moller; father, Donald Moller and sisters, Leona Moller, Patricia (Alvin Forth) as well as sisters in-law, Loretta Moller, Julie Moller.
There will be no formal services held, and at a later date, family will gather to celebrate Jerry's life.
The family wishes to send special thanks to Dr. Hendriks, the nurses at the Wetaskiwin hospital and to Wetaskiwin Homecare for the extensive care and compassion provided to Jerry.
