It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald “Jerry” Leeman Hauge on December 20th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. He was born in Wetaskiwin March 20th, 1939 to Margaret and Ole Hauge.
He leaves to mourn his devoted wife of 58 years, Judy Anne Hauge (nee Nilsson) and two sons, Drew (Michelle) of Sherwood Park, and Jaret (Kerrie) of Bellingham, Washington. He is also survived by five grandchildren Ryan, Kayla, Coleman, Alex, and Nic, and five great-grandchildren Charlotte, Aurora, Elijah, Chloe, and Adelyn, his brother Verne (Audrey) and sister-in-law Mary, as well as nephews Gill, Lee, and Sean, and many good friends.
Jerry lived near Westerose on the family farm, which was settled by his grandfather Knut and Margit in 1905. He was predeceased by his mother, father, and younger brother Dallas, his father and mother in-law George and Dorothy “Dolly”, and brother-in-law Don.
