Frank Buchenel

Frank Buchenel passed away peacefully in Ponoka on November 12, 2020.  He was born on April 15, 1948, spending most of his early life in Calgary, and his later life in the Eckville/Condor areas.

Frank was predeceased by his wife Ruth and his son James in 2014.  He will be missed by his children: Robin, Brenna (Grant), Edward (Kayla), and Maxine (Jessie); and by his grandchildren: Justin, Ethan, Claire, Dante, Abby, Elise, and Elias.

Frank was happiest when he was tending to his turkeys, ducks, and chickens.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching action movies.  He was always willing to help anyone that asked, and will always be remembered for his generosity and kindness towards others.

Frank's family would like to thank the staff of the Centennial Centre in Ponoka for the capable, loving care the gave Frank over the past 6 years.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
