Florence (Walcheske) Fenske

Sadly, we announce the passing of Florence Fenske (nee Walcheske) at the age of 93 years at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre. She was the oldest of five children.

Florence is survived by her son Ron (Annette) and family; daughter Shirley (Tom) and family; her daughter-in-law Donna and her family; three sisters-in-law and their families; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Florence was predeceased by her parents; her husband Clifford; and son Ken; also, three brothers; four sisters-in-law; and three brothers-in-law.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at the Ponoka First Baptist Church.

Memorial Donations in Florence’s name are gratefully accepted to a charity of your choice, or Ponoka and District Health Foundation: Long Term Care.
