Ernest Joseph Loiselle

On the afternoon of January 29th, Ernie slipped away at the age of 85 years.

Ernie will be lovingly remembered by his nephews Darrel Billsten (Kim), Brian Marcellus (Ruby), and Brent Marcellus (Tammy); niece Debbie Malan (Burt); niece-in-law Cindy Beach; brother-in-law Stan Marcellus; and his great friend Doug Nelson, who saw him daily.  Ernie was predeceased by his loving partner Valerie Sieger; his sisters Irene Marcellus, Hazel Billsten (Dennis), and Gladys Beach; and his nephew Shane Beach.

We would like to thank Dr. Greyling (Ernie’s long time Doctor) and the hospital staff at the Ponoka and Red Deer hospitals for their compassionate care of our uncle.

A Celebration of Ernie’s Life will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home.
