February 1940 – January 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Emery Law, who left us on January 15, 2025, at the age of 84. Emery's journey through life touched many, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Emery is survived by his sister, Kay Grinde; nephew, Arnold Grinde; brother, Percy Law; nephew, Cheyne Law and Cheyne's wife, Angie along with their children, Alexis and Ryker. He also leaves behind a wide circle of friends, extended family, and loved ones, all of whom are richer for having known him.

He was predeceased by his mother, Margaret Law (2004) and his father, Arnold Law (1967). They are now reunited with him in peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 86, 5003-52 Avenue, Wetaskiwin on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.  In keeping with Emery’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Emery's life was one of quiet strength, deep affection for his family, and a steadfast presence in the lives of those around him. As we remember him today, we hold onto the memories and the impact he made, which will continue to resonate with all of us.
