Elsie Marie (Fjellstrom) Hunter

It is with loving hearts that we say goodbye to our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Elsie Hunter who left us on June 8, 2019 at the age of 101.

She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her children Linda (Ross) Fletcher of Red Deer and Douglas (Diane) Hunter of Stettler; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Chris, Kate, Emily and Nathan; Bryce, Mackenzie and Sydney; Todd, Karen, Ethan and Ty; and Robin, Alyson and Waylon.

Elsie is survived by her sisters-in-law Annie Hunter, Kathleen Lindop and Arlene Felstrom as well as many nieces and nephews. Elsie was pre-deceased by Glenn, her loving husband of 64 years, her brother Rev. Harold Felstrom, Herbert Hunter and Stu Lindop.

Elsie led a fulfilled active life and touched the hearts and lives of many people. She will be remembered for her love of life and enjoyment of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bashaw United Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Bashaw Cemetery or any charity of your choice.
