Ellen is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Joseph Deschamps, but together for 45 years; her children, Debra, Cody, Alfred (Candace), Jonathan (Cheryl), Jodi (Wilse), Clinton (Jayde), Richard (Cheyanne), Jillian (Warren), Leland (Shaylee) and Daniel (Karla); her sisters, Marcelle (Danny), Priscilla (Irvin), Barbara, and Trina; brothers, Richard (Joann), Raymond (Cheryl), Jimmy (Clayton (Stephanie), Frances; adopted son, Todd Bull (Maxine); her sister-in-law, Florence Deschamps; grandchildren, Jermaine, Austin, Tyra, Tyrese, Josh, Quinn, Jaycee, Nathan, Donovan, Miranda, Joedin, Jerome, Jeff, Joy, Darnell, Joelle, Arizona, Tristan, Keisha, Liam, Logan, CJ, Audrina, RJ, Faith, Jesslyn, Ellie, Harmony, Kayden, Skyler; chapons, Kenley, JJ and Autumn. 
Special Acknowledgement to Carol Brown, Koren Brown, Christy Brown, Carly Larocque, Beverly Deschamps, Lacy Mykat-Alexis, Rhonda Larocque, Colin Raine, Rhonda Bowman, Nelsena Deschamps, the Wellness staff, all the daycare babies she raised and called her “Mom”, the children she raised as her own as well as numerous numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.
Ellen was predeceased by her parents, Eddie Potts and Rosie Brown; sisters, Donna Morin, Marilyn Bull, Marian Potts and Shirley Brown, as well as her brothers, Edwin Brown, Edward and Jeffrey Brown.
