Elizabeth (Betty) Quast

August 16, 1944 - October 1st, 2018

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that Elizabeth (Betty) Merita Quast passed away peacefully on October 1st 2018 with her husband, Walter by her side. Betty will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 38 years, Walter Quast; a twin brother,  Robert (Rose) Fredrickson of Red Deer; brother, Ken (Gladys) Fredrickson of Wetaskiwin; as well as brothers-in-law, Christian Quast of Westerose, Clarence (Jean) Quast of Westerose; sisters-in-law, Judy (David) Bell of Leduc, Linda (Howard) Brooke of Leduc, Jeannette Quast of Taber and numerous nieces, nephews and great friends. 

Betty was predeceased by her father, Julius Fredrickson; mother, Mary Agnes Johnson Fredrickson; step-father, Wilfred Johnson; brother, Melvin Fredrickson; sister-in-law, Maureen; father-in-law, Alex Quast; mother-in-law, Ella Quast; sisters-in-law, Maureen and Noviena Quast and brother-in-law, Gordon Quast.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Baker Funeral Chapel, 5302-50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin with interment to follow at the Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery.

Donations if desired, may be made to Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation or  the charity of one's choice.
