Elizabeth (Liz) entered into eternal rest peacefully, looking into her daughter Kelly's eyes while holding hands with her, and with her caring nephew Don Dutchak at her side. It was a beautiful and precious moment.
Liz is lovingly remembered by her three children Kevin (Cindy) Cyr, Karie-Anne Caverhill, and Kelly Gibson; grandchildren Jenelle (Jordan) Iannuzzi, Alanis (Connor) Dudley, Arriana Gibson, Roslyn (Tyler) Lambert, Jaelin Caverhill (and her dog "Cutie"); her great-granddaughter Rooney Iannuzzi; sister Mary Dyer; sister-in-law Elaine Dutchak; many nieces and nephews; as well as life-long friends Pat (Doug) Forrest, Trish Nelson, and Phyllis Lewis. She was predeceased by her mother and father John and Rose Dutchak; brothers Karl, Nick, and Johnny Dutchak; sisters Irene Petch, Stella Metz, and Helen Dutchak; brothers-in-law Wally Dyer and Bill Metz; sister-in-law Vicki Dutchak; nieces Judy Petch, and Wendy Chilibeck; nephews Terry and Larry Dutchak, Rick Metz, and Wayne Petch.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Royal Oak Retirement Village (4th Floor Lounge) at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
The family wishes to acknowledge all the wonderful, caring people who helped care for our mother in her later years: nephews Don Dutchak and Greg (Barb) Dutchak; reunited friend Barrie Cyr; various staff at the Royal Oak in Independent, Assisted Living, and especially the Memory Care Unit. A special thanks to Elaine, Stephanie, and Emmett for adding so much joy to mom’s care. Thank you to all of those who made Liz feel so loved.
