Edith is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Ken; children, Dean (Joellyn), Bonnie (Shane), Connie (Jeff), and Bruce (Sheylan); grandchildren, Emily, Colmer, William, Justin (Samantha), Amanda (Mike), Samantha (Jonathan), Benjamin, Katelyn, Jonathan, Bryden, Everett, and Lucas; great grandchildren, Lily, Arianna, Carter, Payton, Colt, and Westyn; brother, Alfred; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gustav and Ottilie Schachtschneider; brothers, infant-brother Arthur, Bernie (Helen), Harvey (Donna), Herb (Shirley), and Walter; sisters, Hilda (Emil), Mary (Arthur), and Adele (Bert); niece, Jacqueline Buskas; nephew, Darren Buskas; parents in law, William and Nellie Kolody; and sister in law, Florence (Oscar; George).
A funeral service for Edith will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29th, at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin, with Deb Lentz officiating.
