Dwayne Congdon

It is with broken hearts and great sadness that the family of Dwayne A. Congdon announce his sudden passing on December 30, 2021.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed so deeply by the love of his life, Sherry; their children Stacy (Greg) Simper, Tyler (Janine) Congdon, and Katelin (Phil) St-Laurent; his granddaughters Peyton Simper, Emily Congdon, and Adalynn and Paige St-Laurent; his mother Marjorie; sisters Donna (Harold), Shirley, Marlene (Donnie), and Beverly (Tim); his brother Lenard (Sarah); mother-in-law Joan; brothers-in-law Rick (Jane) and Roger (Sonia); sister-in law-Brenda (Randy); and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  Dwayne was predeceased by his father William Congdon and father-in-law Ralph Schierman.

Dwayne radiated a calm energy that people loved being around, and enjoyed bringing everyone together. He had an extraordinary gift to put his whole heart into the things he loved, which contributed to his long list of achievements.

He was known to most as a loving son, brother, husband, father, leader, coach, King cong, Big D, but by far his favorite was Pa. His booming voice and gentle soul will be remembered by all who knew him.
