Douglas Edwin Zielke

Doug passed away on July 7, 2020 in Istanbul, Turkey at the age of 61 years.

Doug will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Shiela; son Bo; mother Betty; sisters Patty and Tana (Wilf); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Doug was predeceased by his daughters Malika and Mya; his brother Rick; his father Allen; his father-in-law George; and mother-in-law Louise. 

A celebration picnic will be held Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 at the Dude Ranch (east on highway 53 from intersection of Highway 2A & 53; 15 kms to Range Road 241 [turn north] for 6 kms and follow signs).

The celebration will be “come and go” from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Please come - casual dress.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Colorectal Cancer Canada or to any charity of your choice.
