Dorothy Lofstrand Obituary
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Dorothy (Dot) Lillian Lofstrand who passed away suddenly at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose, Alberta on May 19, 2019 at the age of 92 years old.
Dorothy was born on the Duke of Sutherland ranch, northeast of Brooks, Alberta to James and Margaret Isabell (nee Crombie) Small. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Harry and Evelyn.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, David and their four children Marilyn (Bill) Masters, Marlene Lofstrand, David (Connie) Lofstrand, and Barbara (Kim) Marsh. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Curtis (Natalie) Masters, Casson (Liz) Masters, Mark (Whitney) Masters, Derek Lofstrand and Megan Lofstrand; also the great grandchildren Ellie, Spencer, Mya, Kate, Andrew, Jack and Luke.
A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bashaw Community Centre, 5020 - 52 Street, Bashaw, Alberta.
In Dorothy’s memory, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Dorothy’s name to be made to the Bashaw Meadows Residents Association 5502-56 Ave, T0B 0H0 Bashaw, Alberta.
