Doris Eleanora (Stobbe) Knull
1936 - 2025
On March 24th our beautiful Mother, Grandma, and Great-Grandma passed away peacefully in her home in Leduc.
Doris is survived by her children Beverly (Merrill) Pearson, Dean (Laurie) Knull, and Betty (Stephen) Perkins; Daughter-in-law Sherry Knull; Grandchildren Lesley Knull, Kristine (Cory) Becker, Candace (Colin) Tull, Ashley (Chad) Dettmer, Duncan (Jessica) Pearson, Colten Knull, Lindsey (Nicolas) Ramirez, Jillian Knull, Kyle (Jamie) Knull, and Spencer Perkins; and ten great-grandchildren. Doris was blessed with a large immediate family and is survived by five siblings – Irene, Sadie, Jean, Ervin, and Elmer.
Doris was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Pauline Stobbe, her loving husband, Donald, and her oldest son, Brian. Meeting her in heaven are her other eight siblings – Alfred, Ewald, Hattie, Sally, Gerry, Joe, Ray, and Wilf.
All her life, Doris loved family gatherings, gardening, quilting, hardanger, puzzling, and cheering for the Oilers. Her beautiful smile and delicious apple pie will be missed by all.
We will be holding a celebration of life for Doris on Tuesday, April 1st, at 2:00 pm, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with a lunch to follow.
If you wish, donations can be made in memory to the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery or the charity of your choice.
