Doreen Joan Beardsley

Doreen Joan Beardsley passed away suddenly at the Ponoka General Hospital 21 November, 2024.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, John "Jack"; children Robert (Tammi), Janice, and Sandra (Duane); grandchildren Jordan, Zachary, Alliyah, Allecia, and Ethan; and cousin Laurie Hurley (Keith).

Doreen was born in Charlottetown, PEI in 1934. She graduated as a teacher, taught school, and eventually found employment at RCAF base Summerside, PEI. Here, she met her future husband Jack and started her career as a caring wife and mother who would stand by her husband through 35 years of military life, eventually retiring in Red Deer and later Ponoka.

There will not be a formal Funeral Service.
