Diana (Walders) Graham

Diana Graham (nee Walders) 
March 28, 1943 - August 4, 2021

It is great sadness that the family of Diana announce that she passed away peacefully on August 4, 2021 in Rimbey, Alberta at the age of 78 years old after a long and furious battle with multiple cancers. Diana was born in Calgary, Alberta to David and Averill Walders. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Sterling of Winfield, Alberta; her mother Averill of Lacombe, Alberta; her son Patrick and daughter Jackie (Mike) Loe; grandchildren Shayla, Jakob and Addison. As well as,  her brother Ken (Rose) and her sister Bonnie; her nephews Daniel, Steven and Cameron and her nieces Jessica and Laura. Diana also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Diana was predeceased by her father David, two infant brothers and mother-in-law Mary K Noy.

Diana was a kind and loving woman; she is remembered for her big hugs and beautiful smile. She spent many years volunteering for the Winfield Multi 4-H Club as a leader, helping children and youth develop leadership and horsemanship skills. Many may remember her through the service station in Winfield, which she and Sterling owned for many years or the times she spent with the Appaloosa Club in Central Alberta. Diana will be greatly missed and forever cherished.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Winfield Legion.

And a special thank you to Dr Gagnon and Dr Rylance, the staff and nurses at Winfield Home Care, the staff and nurses at the Rimbey Hospital and the Central Alberta Cancer Clinic in Red Deer.
