Dennis Morton Obituary

Dennis Bishop Morton
1944 ~ 2023

Dennis Bishop Morton passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27th, 2023 at the age of 79.

Dennis was a wonderful, loving, man, appreciated by so many.

Dennis was born in Richards Landing, Ontario, and at the early age of 17, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces. His basic training was at Camp Borden, Ontario, and his first posting was to Calgary, Alberta. This is where he met his beautiful love of his life! They fell in love and were engaged in October of 1963 and married in April of 1964.

He was happiest spending time with his family, they meant the world to him. He enjoyed golf, football games with his son, watching hockey and baseball. He loved taking his family camping, going fishing, cycling, playing games, swimming and goofing around in the water with his kids and grandkids.

He was the loving husband of Patricia, father to Jim (Laureen), Leanne (Terry), Brenda (Joe); Brother to Bill (Phyllis); Uncle to several nieces and nephews; grandfather to Brenda, Miranda (Forrest), Marisa (Kyle), Virginia (Chris), Kimberley, Evan, Dylan & Kailey; great-grandfather to Luke. He was predeceased by his father Alvin, mother Margaret, sister Ruth and his brother John.
