Dennis Ivan Dunn

It’s with great sadness the family of Dennis Dunn announce his passing on May 25, 2022 at the age of 83.

He will be sadly missed by his faithful and long-time companion, Judy Fitzowich; his sisters Sylvia Cire (Ed Wilkie) and Val Poffenroth (Gerald); his proudly acquired second family, Judy’s children and grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  He was predeceased by his wife Joanne; his infant son Gregory; his parents Fred and Gladys Dunn; and his brother Fred Dunn. 

The family would like to extend their sincere thank you to the Doctors and nurses at the Leduc Hospital for their compassionate care of Dennis.  Special thank you to his nurse on Wednesday,  whose care and compassion was greatly appreciated by the family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home (5115-50 Avenue, Ponoka).  The service will be livestream broadcast at service time (located below) and the recording will be available for viewing here on this obituary page for the next 6 months.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of their choice.
