Delorn Jeffrey, age 25, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, surrounded by the warmth, love, and presence of his devoted family and closest friends. He was born in St. Lucia and died in Edmonton, Alberta.
Delorn was a young man of remarkable strength and resilience. Just a year and a half ago, he underwent a double lung transplant—a journey he faced with immense courage. Later in his life, Delorn took a deeply meaningful step in his spiritual journey and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, finding true peace, comfort, and purpose in his faith.
To know Delorn was to know his passions. He had a deep love for cars, was an avid soccer fan, and enjoyed collecting hats and shoes. He brought an infectious enthusiasm to everything he enjoyed, but his greatest joy was undoubtedly found in the people around him. Delorn was profoundly loved by a vast circle of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He leaves behind a beautiful legacy in his cherished daughter, Alaya. Delorn is survived and deeply missed by his loving mother and father, David and Mathy; his brother, Briley; his sister, Brielle; and his beloved grandmother Simonne; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, loved ones and family. He also leaves behind many close, meaningful connections on his daughter’s family’s side, alongside countless friends who became family.
A private Interment will be held for the immediate family.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Delorn at Ponoka Seventh-day Adventist Church on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
