David is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Helen; daughters, Laurie (David) Kopp, Barbara (Elwin) Dreichel; son, Richard (Rose) Wilson; eight grandchildren, Ian (Jolin), Tony (Dana), June (Clinton), Robin (Jeremy), Sarah (Jasmine), Scott (Stephanie), Curtis (Chelsey), Alex; 14 great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Gabe, Arianna, Megan, Lothar, Orson, Chaz, Gage, Maverick, Viola, Presley, Georgia, Grayson, Morgan; brother, Keith (Clara), sister, Jean Hoyle; sister-in-law, Gwen Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 
David was predeceased by parents, Alexander and Leah Wilson; brother, Allan wilson; sister, Vivian Wilson.
A Funeral Service will take place at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church (Ma-Me-O Beach, Alberta) on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. In memory of David, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or the charity of one’s choice.
