David Edward Jerke

On November 10, 2023, David Jerke passed away at the Citadel Long Term Care Center at the age of of 89 years. He was four days shy of his 90th birthday.

David was an accomplished musician and was involved in the music business for many years. He enjoyed golf and was a member of a curling club for many years. He also coached curling to the disabled.

David is survived by his four children, Keith (Gisele), Chris, Janet (Paul) and Lorne (Melanie). He leaves four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Donald (Jenny) and his family. David was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Lena.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Chapel, 5302-50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin.  The service will be live streamed and the link can be found at the bottom of this page.
