Darren Thomas Anderson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Darren Thomas Anderson, born August 16, 1967, in Edmonton, Alberta. He left us on March 29, 2026, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, at the age of 58.

Darren is remembered by his beloved children, Kyra Webb and Jason Anderson. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Mayda Schumacher; his devoted twin brother, David Anderson; younger brother, Mark Anderson. Darren is also survived by his cousins, Wayne Chibry, Trevor Chibry, Troy Chibry, Bobby Schumacher, Shawna Dennis, and Sharon Williams, who all hold precious memories of time spent together.

Darren is predeceased by his father, Terry Anderson, and stepmother, Alpha Anderson of Kelowna, B.C., along with various aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

Darren lived life on his own terms, embracing each moment with a generous heart. He was known for his kindness and unwavering support for his friends. His passion for personal rights reflected his deep belief in individual freedoms, and he was always ready to stand up for what he believed was right.

In lieu of a memorial service, the family warmly invites those who wish to honour Darren’s spirit to make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.

His love and legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
